Mobile Phone Vendors shipped a total of 445 million mobile phones in 3Q12 compared to 434 million units in the 3Q11.   How many smartphones did the Mobile Phone Vendors Ship in the Third Quarter 2012? In the worldwide smartphone market vendors shipped 180 million units in 3Q12 compared to 124 million units in 3Q11. The 45.3% year-over-year growth.   Who are the top SmartPhone Manufacturers 1. SamSung  32% Mkt Share with  57 million units 2. Apple   15%  Mkt Share with   27 Million 3. RIMM    8%    Mkt Share with 7.5 Million 4. ZTE     7.5% 5. HTC     7%
